An active lawyer in refugee and environmental issues.

Malak Alamar grew up in refugee schools in Jordan and witnessed how refugees suffer from poor living conditions and how they are most affected by natural disasters that result from climate change. Malak began from here to identify the effects of climate change and the hostile relationship that it may create between people, as climate change is a major threat to them, from here she decided to bring young refugees and Jordanians together to find solutions for climate resilience, peaceful coexistence and environmental and social justice through her organization Sanaubar.

My conversation with Malak revolves around how we conceptualize and define her life mission, climate change, refugees, and the importance of cultivating regenerative communities.

Premiere episode: June 2024
